When should I visit the vet?
You know your pet better than anyone, so trust your instincts. If you feel something isn’t right, it’s always best to have your pet checked.
Common signs of illness include vomiting, diarrhoea, loss of appetite, lethargy or changes in behaviour. Urgent problems may include difficulty breathing, choking, seizures, a swollen abdomen, collapse or signs of pain or distress.
If you’re ever unsure, we recommend booking an appointment, even if it’s just for peace of mind.
What should I do in an after-hours emergency?
If your pet needs urgent care outside our opening hours, please contact:

Why are other pets being seen before mine?
If you’re concerned about your pet while waiting, please speak with our reception team and we’ll do our best to assist.
What if I can’t afford treatment?
If you have financial concerns, please raise them with your veterinarian early so we can discuss suitable options. VetPay payment plans are available for approved applicants, and our team can assist with the application process.
